L'Oceane Jewellery: A "Beach Maison" Retail Experience

Redefining Luxury with Coastal Serenity and Dynamic Design




This concept design proposal for L'Oceane Jewellery aims to redefine the brand's retail experience, particularly targeting a younger generation of customers. The new store concept seeks to differentiate itself with an energetic ambiance and a brighter environment, moving away from the existing T18 concept.



The design approach, dubbed "Beach Maison in Corsica," draws inspiration from the serene and luxurious holiday vibe of Corsica's beautiful beaches. This is translated into the store's aesthetic through colors reminiscent of white sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue seawater, along with organic layers and patterns. The concept aims to offer an enjoyable and relaxing in-shop experience.




The store layout is carefully zoned to highlight different product categories. The Chinese Wedding Fine Gold area will feature a warm-toned ambiance with a mix of gold and beige colors, and textured wall finishes, evoking the feel of a sandy beach. In contrast, the Diamond Jewellery area will adopt a bright and cool tone, primarily using blue and silver with translucent glass materials, to evoke the energy and dynamic contours of ocean waves. Flexible island displays will serve as a transition between these two zones, incorporating a mix of gold and silver metals, glass, and patterned carpets to blend the concept with practical retail zonings.




The overall material palette and detailing further reinforce the "Beach Maison" concept. The Chinese Wedding Fine Gold display area, for instance, is crafted with fine textures and polished metal, accented by natural stone and glass reflections, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This area aims to artfully present a beautiful sandy beach vibe.





For the diamond and seasonal displays, rounded corner shapes echo the softness of the beach environment, while organic patterns on the ceiling and floor help to seamlessly blend the design concept with the functional retail zones. This meticulous attention to detail ensures a cohesive and immersive brand experience that resonates with the target demographic. The diamond jewellery display area, specifically, adopts crystal-clear blue from the sea as its accent color to evoke the energy from the coastline, with curvy gestures resonating with the dynamic contours of ocean waves.
